every single morning i wake to find an 105 lb dog sleeping on the couch and every single morning i scold him and beat him for doing it. he knows he's not suppose to but he doesn't care, the dog is satan. i got home this afternoon from the obgyn to the suspension that the dog had been napping in my bed. however, i had no proof. i hadn't been home more than ten minuetes when i turned around and saw the dog back on the couch. strike 3. so although the weatherman is advising all pets and elderly be put indoors this afternoon, lou will not.

he will be outside in the sloshy snow.

i know, he does look like a sad dog. jon informed me later that day that lou was allowed to be on the couch and beds though they had a command when they wanted him off. so all this time i though lou was being disobdient, he wasn't-he was simply obeying me when i told him to get off. the dog isn't house trained that's all there is to it. i would like to think if i got him a big pillow he would choose that over my bed, and if i yell at him enough he'll stop eating his food over the carpet-but at his age, that dog isn't going to learn any tricks. unfortunately, it's cold outside so he has to be indoors though he's not an indoor dog. sigh.
