what could be the longest week, EVER:

i don't believe it myself, but yes, still no baby. there were nights, not too many nights ago, i would sit on the couch and watch truman do tumbles and backflips, making my stomach look like an alien was about to tear my flesh open and come raging out, hungry for human flesh and world domination. as i would watch this spectacle in half fear and half maternal awe, i was almost positive, he would, sooner than i was ready, break my water with all those jabs and half inch protrusions.

as it appears right now, as i've sadly accepted, friday, august 15th at 7:30am, i'm scheduled for my inducement. the distance from here, this tuesday to there, this friday, seems like a lifetime away-an eternity elapsed within and around eternities.

i will say, i'm getting WAY more done around the new place than i antcipated. which is nice, but not as nice as being able to bend down again and having little truman here would be.

I bet you'll pop before then. You'll probably relax a whole lot now that you KNOW for sure he'll be here by Friday.
Were you induced with Conrad? I can't remember.

i hope so, but then again, i dare not hope. ;)

yah, i was induced with conrad. which i know has some perks, like being able to plan the hour and the day your going to the hospital to have a baby, but i've heard inducements are way harder labors than going into labor naturally so this entire pregnancy i was, kinda still am, hoping i could experience labor with a ready cervix. oh well, or we'll see.

even if it's friday's persuasion that truman finally makes his grand entrance, you'll do great! you've done it before and you can do it again. you're a strong woman and you have god on your side. i'll be praying for you!

btw, the picture is fabulous. i love that you can still look so adorable while looking so painfully pregnant.

I thought for sure you hadn't blogged in the last few days because you were too busy taking care of little Truman. I'm sorry :-( Every day after your due date is just miserable! All of you prego people make me never want to do it again!! But I will be praying that he slips right out! :-)

ha! I guess I am signed in as Josh. That comment sounds quite ridiculous coming from him!

Did you do jumping jacks or drive over repetitive speed bumps going 50 mph yet like I suggested? I hear it works. Also, hold your nose when you sneeze. You may be able to break your water and shoot him right outta there. It's amazing the things you can learn on google. :)
